Literary Fiction - 26,100 words

“The journey of a genius-artist heir into adulthood, finding creative and sexual expression, and ultimately love, against his monomaniacal father's wishes, is unlike anything this reader has encountered in a book before. The scope of the story puts the reader in a variety of settings—a tremendous mansion, a private boarding school, an island retreat, a cabin in the mountains, an office at the top of a skyscraper—that are incredibly engaging and elegantly rendered. The characters are credible within the stylized and unique world the author has created and their actions are consistent with the inner-life the author gives them.” —Lauren Novak

How to Survive the End of the World or Die Trying

SF/Satire/Experimental - 11,000 words

The world is going to end on December 21st, 2012. What follows is an account of the events leading up to the end of the world and the stupid people who tried to avoid it, namely 33 individuals who purchased survival condominiums in a refurbished missile silo. Nothing should be taken seriously, especially the events of this so-called novel, or any account of the end of the world for that matter, because who wants to think about the end of the world unless it’s going to be funny?
